In Shapes and Cat Shapes, I tap into the spirit of 20th-century outsider artists and the surrealist movement, drawing inspiration from childhood literature and the unfiltered imagination of early life.
The works reflect an instinctive approach to creation, where the boundaries between the conscious and subconscious blur. Surreal humor, playful geometry, and abstraction emerge organically, inviting a sense of freedom and experimentation.
Central to the exhibition is my focus on spontaneity and playfulness in creating an artwork, qualities often linked to childhood and free creativity. With the exhibited works I would like to encourage viewers to let go of convention, embrace the absurd, and rediscover the joy of uninhibited expression.
